With conventional battery scrap and ensuing black mass, RecycLiCo has successfully proven its process can be used to recycle end-of-life batteries into comparable commercial-grade batteries.
Shortly after signing a memorandum of understanding with Korean electronics manufacturer Sonid Inc., RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc. announced that a Korean manufacturer used cathode material upcycled with the RecycLiCo to create battery cells that are comparable to those made with virgin cathode materials.
